Looker Studio

Google's free drag-and-drop dashboarding tool for building reports on top of marketing, analytics and warehouse data.

Looker Studio is Google's free report-building and dashboarding tool: it connects to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Sheets, BigQuery and hundreds of third-party connectors, and lets anyone build shareable, interactive dashboards without writing code. It is entirely distinct from Looker, the separate enterprise BI product Google also owns, which is built on a governed semantic modeling layer (LookML) and sold on a different pricing plan — the similar name is a frequent source of confusion. A paid Looker Studio Pro tier adds team content management, version history, and SLA-backed support for organizations standardizing on it, layered on top of the still-free standard product. Because it consumes data rather than collecting it, teams commonly pair it with a connector tool like Supermetrics, Windsor.ai or Porter to feed it data from ad platforms Google doesn't natively cover.

The standard product is free with no seat or report limits; a separate Looker Studio Pro tier adds team management features for a per-user fee that Google did not display on the pages checked this session.
