AWS Data Exchange
AWS-native marketplace for finding, subscribing to and billing third-party datasets delivered through S3, Redshift or APIs.
AWS Data Exchange is a distribution channel inside AWS rather than a standalone product: it lists third-party data products that an AWS customer can subscribe to and receive directly into their own account — as files in S3, tables queryable in Redshift, or API calls — with usage billed through the customer's existing AWS invoice. Providers set their own prices, refresh schedules and licensing terms; AWS handles discovery, entitlement and billing but not data quality. It only benefits organizations already operating inside AWS, since delivery is native to S3/Redshift rather than a generic download, and some products also carry AWS's own data-transfer or compute charges on top of the provider's price.
