Snowflake Marketplace is a distribution channel built into the Snowflake platform, not a standalone product: it lists third-party data, native apps and AI/agent offerings that a Snowflake customer can attach directly to their own account via Snowflake's data-sharing technology, without moving or copying the data. Free listings can be added with a few clicks; paid listings route through Snowflake's billing but the price, refresh cadence and license terms are set by the individual data provider, not by Snowflake. It only works for organizations already running Snowflake, since access is granted through Snowflake's account-to-account sharing rather than a file download or generic API. Evaluate listings on the provider's own reputation and data quality, since Snowflake itself does not vouch for accuracy.
