Docket Alarm, part of Fastcase, is built around direct access to court dockets and filed documents, PACER federal filings, state courts, and administrative bodies such as the PTAB and TTAB, paired with search, alerting and analytics on top of that document access. Litigators use it to monitor active cases, pull filed motions and briefs, and run litigation and motion-outcome analytics across a broad range of courts; a flat per-user monthly plan removes the pay-per-document friction of using PACER directly. It differs from Lex Machina or Trellis, which emphasize judge- and outcome-level analytics over a curated dataset, by leading with raw docket and document access, with analytics layered on top rather than being the primary product.
