Datazoom
A video data collection and routing layer that standardizes player, CDN and ad-server events before they reach any analytics tool.
Datazoom positions itself as a data platform first and an analytics tool second: it collects events from video players, CDNs, origin services and server-side ad insertion (SSAI) systems, standardizes them into a normalized schema, and streams them in real time to a customer's own warehouse, dashboard, or third-party analytics tool via connectors. This makes it closer to a specialized data pipeline for streaming video than a finished dashboard product, and it is often deployed alongside a QoE tool such as Conviva or Mux Data rather than replacing one. Media companies use it to avoid re-instrumenting every player and CDN each time they add a new analytics or business tool downstream.
