Census was an independent reverse ETL and data-activation platform that let teams sync warehouse tables into CRMs, ad platforms, and support tools without code. Fivetran acquired Census in May 2025 and has folded it into its platform as "Activations," alongside Fivetran's existing extract-and-load connectors. Activations still does the same job — no-code sync mappings, a visual Audience Hub for building segments without SQL, observability and alerting, and a REST API — but pricing and packaging now run through Fivetran's account and consumption model rather than Census's old flat-fee plans. Getcensus.com now redirects to Fivetran. Teams already on Fivetran gain reverse ETL in the same console; teams that valued Census as a lean, standalone product now depend on Fivetran's broader platform and pricing structure.
