Bloomerang is a donor management CRM built for small and mid-sized nonprofits, positioned around donor retention as its core metric rather than acquisition alone. Like other fundraising CRMs, its "analytics" are reports drawn from the donor database itself — giving history, retention and lapsed-donor tracking, campaign performance, and predictive giving-capacity scoring on paid tiers — rather than a general-purpose analytics platform. It bundles CRM, online giving pages, email marketing and (as an add-on) volunteer management under one roof, and prices by number of constituent records rather than seats, so cost scales with database size. It acquired Kindful in 2021 and has been migrating Kindful customers onto the Bloomerang platform. It is a common alternative to Blackbaud for smaller organizations that want a lighter, less expensive system.
