NatureMetrics is a commercial environmental-DNA (eDNA) company: customers collect water, soil or air samples in the field using its sampling kits, ship them to NatureMetrics' laboratories for genetic sequencing, and receive species-presence results through its digital platform. This detects fish, mammals, insects, plants and microbes present in an area without physical trapping or visual survey, which is used by mining, infrastructure, agriculture and conservation organizations to establish biodiversity baselines, track change over time and support environmental impact and financing disclosures such as TNFD. Pricing is per sample/project rather than a software subscription, since lab processing is the core cost driver; NatureMetrics does not publish standard prices.
