Cloudability is a multi-cloud cost management and FinOps platform, originally independent and now part of IBM's Apptio suite following IBM's 2023 acquisition of Apptio and Cloudability's earlier merger into it. It ingests billing data from AWS, Azure and Google Cloud to provide cost allocation (business mapping/tagging), budgeting, anomaly detection and rightsizing recommendations aimed at showing engineering teams and finance a shared view of spend. It targets mid-to-large organizations formalizing a FinOps practice across multiple cloud providers rather than single-account cost dashboards.
