AntConc is a free, standalone corpus-analysis toolkit developed by Laurence Anthony, used heavily in corpus linguistics and text-mining teaching. It runs locally with no server or account, loading plain-text corpora to generate concordance lines (keyword-in-context), collocation statistics, word and n-gram frequency lists, keyword lists comparing a corpus against a reference corpus, and a basic clustering/lexical-bundle view. Because it works entirely offline on files the user supplies, it is well suited to sensitive or unpublished text collections. It has no cloud version, no API and no paid tier: development has continued as a personal open project for over two decades, distributed for Windows, macOS and Linux.
