Its Data Silo Discovery feature scans code and infrastructure to find where personal data actually lives, and a newer AI governance layer extends the same controls to model training data and AI vendor data flows. A notable architectural option is Sombra, a self-hosted encryption gateway that lets a customer keep decryption keys on their own infrastructure so Transcend itself never sees raw personal data in transit.
