OneTrust is a broad privacy and governance suite built from modules that can be licensed individually or together: consent and cookie compliance, data subject access request (DSAR) automation, data mapping and privacy impact assessments, third-party and vendor risk management, and an AI governance module for assessing model and data risk. Most modules share a common inventory of data, systems and vendors, so a data map created for one use case (say, GDPR compliance) can feed reporting for another (vendor risk). It is sold purely as SaaS, metered differently by module: risk and compliance products are typically priced on admin users and inventory size, while consent products are priced on visitor or data volume. OneTrust suits large organizations that want one vendor covering privacy, security assessment and compliance workflow rather than assembling point tools.
