Remix (now sold under Via as Via Remix) is a data-driven transit planning platform used by transit agencies and planning departments to design and evaluate bus and rail networks. It layers ridership, demographic, and land-use data onto a mapping interface so planners can model route and schedule changes, compare service scenarios against equity and coverage goals, and generate the visualizations needed to build public and stakeholder consensus before implementation. It grew out of a standalone product (Remix) that was acquired by Via, a transportation technology company that also operates on-demand transit and paratransit software, and Remix is now positioned as Via's planning and scheduling module within a broader transit-technology suite. It is cloud-hosted, sold to public-sector transit agencies, and pricing is not published; access is arranged through a sales and demo process typical of government transit software procurement.
