Power Automate Process Mining is Microsoft's process mining capability, built into Power Automate's process advisor and delivered as a desktop app plus in-product analysis tools. It grew out of Minit, a standalone process mining vendor Microsoft acquired in 2022, whose technology (root-cause analysis, process comparison, custom metrics, business rules) was folded into the Power Platform rather than continuing as a separately branded product. It extracts event-log and activity-log data from Dataverse, Dynamics 365 apps and other systems of record to generate process maps, KPIs, variant analysis and Copilot-driven natural-language insights. Unlike the other tools in this list, it is not sold as a standalone product: the enterprise process mining features require a Power Automate Premium seat license plus an optional Process Mining add-on for larger data volumes, tying it to the broader Microsoft Power Platform rather than to a dedicated process-intelligence contract.
