PolicyMap

Mapping and data platform combining thousands of demographic, economic and housing datasets at the neighborhood level.

PolicyMap is a web-based mapping and analysis platform that collects, cleans and hosts thousands of public and licensed datasets on demographics, economics, housing, health and lending, then lets users map, compare and export them down to the neighborhood or census-tract level without doing their own data wrangling. Beyond the interactive mapping tool, it offers data licensing for organizations that want to pull the same standardized data into their own systems, a Salesforce integration that surfaces neighborhood-level indicators inside CRM records, and professional services for custom analysis or dashboards. It grew out of Reinvestment Fund, a community-development financial institution, and its core audience remains organizations doing place-based work: nonprofits, foundations, government agencies, lenders and academic institutions assessing community need or market conditions, rather than consumer marketers.
