It captures committed transactions from the source's redo/transaction log and applies them to targets with sub-second latency, supporting active-active replication for zero-downtime database migrations and disaster recovery, in addition to feeding analytics pipelines. It is available both as on-premises software licensed under Oracle's standard terms and as OCI GoldenGate, a fully managed service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
