LatchBio
Cloud platform for building and running bioinformatics workflows with a no-code interface and pay-as-you-go compute.
LatchBio is a newer entrant offering both a no-code interface and the Latch SDK for defining bioinformatics workflows in Python, aimed at labs that want the flexibility of code without committing every scientist to writing it. Compute runs on managed pods billed by actual CPU, RAM, GPU and storage consumption rather than a flat subscription, so cost scales with usage instead of seat count. It includes a workflow marketplace and a lightweight data registry for tracking samples alongside analysis runs, positioning it between Galaxy's free no-code model and DNAnexus/Seven Bridges' enterprise cloud offerings. Enterprise customers get volume discounts and hands-on engineering support for building or porting workflows onto the platform.
