Immuta centralizes data access policy so rules like "mask this column for anyone outside the finance role" are written once and enforced natively inside the compute engine, rather than through copies of data or per-tool permissions. It combines attribute-based access control with sensitive data discovery and classification, so newly created tables can automatically inherit the right policies. Policies are defined as code, which supports audit and version control, and access activity is logged for compliance reporting. A self-service data marketplace lets analysts request access to protected datasets through an approval workflow instead of filing a ticket with a DBA. Immuta is offered both as a managed SaaS product and as a self-hosted deployment for customers who need the control plane inside their own network, and it is priced by custom quote.
