COMSOL Multiphysics
Commercial finite-element simulation suite modeling coupled physical phenomena like heat, structure, fluids and electromagnetics together.
COMSOL Multiphysics is a commercial finite-element-analysis platform for simulating physical systems where multiple phenomena interact, such as heat transfer combined with structural stress, or fluid flow combined with electromagnetics, rather than modeling each physics domain in isolation. It is built around add-on modules for specific domains (structural mechanics, CFD, electromagnetics, chemical reactions, acoustics and more), a shared modeling environment, and the Application Builder, which lets engineers package a simulation into a standalone app for colleagues without simulation expertise to run. It is sold as licensed desktop software, with floating network licenses for teams, used across R&D, academia and manufacturing engineering. Licensing is quote-based through COMSOL's sales team or regional resellers rather than published self-serve pricing.
