DX NetOps (formerly CA Spectrum/Performance Management) is general device and fault monitoring for large, multi-technology, multi-vendor networks: it polls devices via SNMP and streaming telemetry, correlates faults across the topology, and analyzes performance and capacity trends over time. It targets large enterprises and service providers with complex, hybrid physical/virtual/cloud network estates who need centralized fault correlation rather than outside-in synthetic testing or lightweight flow analytics. It is typically deployed self-hosted, with subscription licensing that has replaced Broadcom's older perpetual model, bundling multiple NetOps modules together.
