Stripe Radar
Machine-learning fraud scoring and rules engine that screens Stripe charges in real time and blocks or reviews suspicious ones.
Radar scores every charge on Stripe using a machine-learning model trained across Stripe's network, then lets a merchant write custom rules to block, allow or route charges to manual review, alongside a queue for reviewing flagged payments and dashboards of fraud/dispute trends. It is a decisioning and detection product, not a general analytics/reporting tool — for ad hoc SQL analysis of the resulting charge data, Stripe sells Sigma separately, and the two are commonly paired: Radar decides what happens to a charge, Sigma lets you query the outcomes afterward. A baseline version (Radar Lite) is included free with standard Stripe payments; the full Radar product adds custom rules and is billed per screened transaction or a flat monthly fee.
