Qlik Sense is built around Qlik's associative engine: it loads data into memory and keeps every possible relationship between fields active at once, so a user can click any value and instantly see which other data is associated versus excluded, rather than following a pre-built query path or drill-down hierarchy. This differs from query-based tools that only show what a specific query asks for. Qlik Sense is offered as Qlik Cloud Analytics (SaaS) and as Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows for on-premises or hybrid deployment. It includes self-service dashboarding, AI-assisted natural-language questions and automation ('Insight Advisor'), and augmented anomaly detection. It targets enterprises that need to explore relationships across many disconnected data sources rather than report against a single governed model.
