Postman
API client and collaboration platform whose Insights agent passively observes production traffic to build automatic endpoint coverage and usage dashboards.
Postman is best known as an API client and collaboration platform, but its API Observability line, branded Postman Insights, extends that into production usage tracking. An Insights Agent installs at the infrastructure layer rather than per-language SDK and passively watches live API traffic to build automatic endpoint coverage, request and response examples, and a service graph without code changes. It correlates production telemetry with monitors and tests already defined in Postman, letting teams reproduce a failing production call inside the same workspace used to build the API. Observability features are layered on top of Postman's core plans: monitors are available from the Solo tier up, while full Insights production visibility and the API Catalog are reserved for Enterprise. A Dynatrace partnership adds correlation with existing observability stacks.
