Onehouse is a managed lakehouse platform founded by the original creators of Apache Hudi, aimed at removing the operational work of building and maintaining a lakehouse: managed ingestion from databases and streams, automatic table optimization (compaction, clustering, cleaning), and a universal metadata layer that exposes the same underlying data as Hudi, Iceberg, or Delta Lake tables so downstream engines can pick whichever format they already use. It targets teams that want Hudi-grade streaming ingestion and incremental processing without operating Hudi clusters themselves, and that need interoperability with Iceberg- or Delta-based tools rather than being locked into one table format. It is delivered as a managed cloud service running inside the customer's own cloud account (a bring-your-own-cloud model) rather than as self-hosted software.
