nPlan

Machine-learning schedule risk forecasting that predicts delay probability and completion dates from historical project data.

nPlan is a schedule-risk forecasting platform rather than a site-monitoring or project-reporting tool: it trains machine-learning models, including graph neural networks, on a dataset of more than 750,000 historical construction schedules to predict how individual activities and whole projects are likely to actually perform, independent of the optimistic assumptions built into a traditional CPM schedule. It outputs activity-level delay probabilities, probabilistic completion-date forecasts with confidence intervals, and portfolio-wide risk prioritization, and can generate or edit draft schedules from scope documentation using generative AI. It reads schedule files from tools such as Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Powerproject rather than replacing them. It suits planners and project controls teams on large, complex projects who want an evidence-based check on schedule realism, distinct from reality-capture tools that track what has physically been built.
