Analytics learning & certification · Coursera

Coursera

Online course marketplace hosting university and industry video courses, Specializations and Professional Certificates, including data analytics programs.

Coursera is a course marketplace rather than a single curriculum: universities and companies (Google, IBM, Meta, DeepLearning.AI, plus individual universities) publish video-lecture courses, graded assignments and Specializations through it, and Coursera sells access via subscription or per-course payment. Format is primarily recorded video lecture with quizzes, peer- or auto-graded assignments, and hands-on projects in some tracks. Its Professional Certificates (like the Google Data Analytics Certificate) are the credentials employers most commonly recognize on the platform, since they're associated with a named issuing company or university rather than Coursera itself; a plain course-completion certificate carries far less weight. Coursera Plus is the platform's all-access subscription, bundling most courses, Specializations and Professional Certificates (excluding degrees and MasterTrack) into one price.
