Aclima builds mobile and stationary sensor platforms that measure pollutants such as NO2, PM2.5, black carbon and greenhouse gases at block-level resolution. Sensors are mounted on fleet vehicles (including a long-running partnership with Google Street View cars) and fixed monitoring stations, producing hyperlocal pollution maps rather than the single-point readings from a typical regulatory monitor. The data feeds Aclima's cloud analytics platform, used by city and state agencies, utilities and research institutions to target emissions-reduction programs, track environmental-justice exposure gaps and support regulatory reporting such as California's AB 617 community monitoring mandate. Aclima operates as a managed service: it deploys and maintains the hardware and delivers processed data and dashboards rather than selling sensors directly to consumers.
